Who we work with

Spa and wellness brands.

Indonesia supplies several materials this category is built on, and the difficulty is not sourcing them. It is that a wellness brand carries the cosmetic regulatory position in its own market, and the claims that sell the product are the ones regulators examine.

What you need that others do not.

A Responsible Person, for Europe
Every cosmetic placed on the EU market needs one established in the Union, holding the product information file. An Indonesian producer cannot be it.1
A safety assessment
Carried out by somebody with defined qualifications, and part of the file rather than a formality. It is the step brands underestimate.1
Composition you can evidence
Chromatography on the shipped lot for every essential oil, against a retained sample. This category buys the most adulterated products on this site.
Claims you can substantiate
Wellness claims and environmental claims are both under active regulatory attention, and the burden of proof sits with whoever made them.
Transport classification
Many essential oils are dangerous goods by air. It is a process rather than a barrier and it is discovered late by brands shipping their first samples.2

Where it goes wrong for you specifically.

  • Buying an oil on price

A quotation well below the market on patchouli or agarwood is a chromatogram waiting to disappoint. In this category the test costs almost nothing against the value of a drum.

  • Assuming the producer's approvals travel

An Indonesian BPOM registration lets a product be sold in Indonesia and does nothing in Europe or North America. It is presented as reassurance constantly.

  • Building a brand on a claim you cannot defend

Sustainable, natural and wellness language is exactly what regulators now test. What is defensible is specific: a registered origin, a documented supply chain, an analysis.

Questions buyers ask.

Which Indonesian materials are worth building on?

Patchouli from Aceh, cananga and ylang, vetiver, nutmeg, agarwood and virgin coconut oil. Those are categories where Indonesia is a serious origin rather than one option, and several carry registered geographical indications you can name.

Do I need my own cosmetic registration?

In almost every market, and it belongs to whoever places the product there. Start it before the goods are made, because in several markets it takes longer than production and shipping together.

How do I stop being sold a diluted oil?

Chromatography on the shipped lot against a sealed retained sample, every time. Cheaper oils share compounds with valuable ones, which makes blending easy and detection straightforward if you actually test.

Can essential oils go by air?

Many are classified as dangerous goods because of their flash point, which means a declaration, correct packing and a carrier that accepts the class. Establish it when you first discuss the product rather than when you book the shipment.
