Seafood
Tuna, shrimp, crab, lobster, seaweed and selected frozen seafood.
Processor eligibility checked per market · Cold-chain plan required
Seafood sourcing starts with the product form, processing establishment and destination approval rules. Temperature history, glazing, net weight, species controls and health certification can determine whether a shipment is acceptable, so processor eligibility and the cold-chain plan must be reviewed before price.
What we source
Product families in this category.
- TunaYellowfin and skipjack — fresh, frozen whole, loins and pouches.
- ShrimpVannamei and black tiger, block and IQF, by count per pound.
- Crab and lobsterSubject to Indonesian catch and size regulation, which we confirm per species before quoting.
- SeaweedCottonii and spinosum, dried, for carrageenan and food use.
This is the range we source in, not a stock list. Grades, minimum quantities and lead times depend on the season and the producer, and are confirmed against your specification before anything is quoted.
Quality control
Checks to define before loading.
The final inspection plan belongs in the quotation or purchase specification. These are common controls for seafood.
- Establishment approval number verified before anything is booked
- Cold chain temperature logged from plant to port
- Glaze percentage and net weight checked — the most common dispute in frozen seafood
- Size grading and count per pound against the agreed specification
- Container pre-cooled and temperature set before stuffing
Market requirements
What the destination asks for.
Confirmed against your market before production starts. Requirements change; we check the current position rather than quoting from memory.
- All markets
HACCP is the processing establishment's food-safety system, not a shipment certificate. Where required, the consignment travels with the applicable Health Certificate issued through Indonesia's current fish quality and safety authority, BPPMHKP (Badan Mutu KKP).
Indonesia Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries ↗ - European Union
EU-bound fishery products must come from an establishment eligible for that market and be accompanied by the required certificate. The establishment's current listing should be checked before quotation and again before shipment.
- Species rules
Indonesian regulation restricts the catch and export of certain species and sizes. We check the current position per species rather than quoting from memory.
Send a specification for seafood.
Product, estimated volume and destination port are enough to start. We assess availability and return the questions or sourcing options needed for a quotation on an appropriate named Incoterm.
