Production method, timber condition, joinery, finishing capacity and packing discipline can vary substantially between producers, so a catalogue image is not enough. The offer must be tied to drawings or an approved sample, an inspection plan and a container load calculation.

Indonesia's SVLK timber-legality system applies to covered timber products. Shipment documentation depends on product and destination: EU-bound covered products use a FLEGT licence, while V-Legal documentation applies to relevant non-EU shipments.

Covered wood products also fall under the EU Deforestation Regulation. The EU operator or trader submits the due-diligence statement; the supply chain must provide traceability and geolocation evidence. A FLEGT licence does not remove EUDR responsibilities.
